Can you participate in the MAGRIT study?
Would you like to take part in the MAGRIT study? First, check the following criteria and see if your particular situation allows you to participate in the study.
Inclusion criteria
The most important conditions for participating in this study are that:
- You have non-small cell lung cancer in stage IB, II or IIIA [check with your doctor] and have had or will have the cancer removed by an operation.
- You agree to have a piece of your tumor tested for the presence of MAGE-A3. This antigen must be found in your cancer for you to enter the study.
- You are at least 18 year old.
- You freely volunteer to participate in this study.
- You are not affected by other significant health problems (will be checked by your doctor).
- In the view of the study doctor, you can and will comply with the requirements of the study protocol.
- If you are a woman, you are not likely to or planning to have a child during the treatment period and are willing to practice adequate contraception measures for the duration of the study treatment (up to two months after completion of this treatment).
If you believe that you meet each of the above criteria, you may contact a hospital participating in the MAGRIT study. They will give you more details on the study and ask you to sign a document confirming that you freely volunteer to participate: the informed consent.
